Risk Assessment

The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations requires that “Every employer shall make a suitable and sufficient assessment of the risks to health and safety of his employees to which they are exposed whilst they are at work and the risks to the health and safety of persons not in his employment arising out of or in connection with the conduct by him of his undertaking.”

As an employer you need to know how to prepare, review and cascade the information contained within a risk assessment.

This course aims to train the assessor to be competent in recognising possible hazards within the work environment and to provide a simple means of recording risks, the population at risk, required control measures and the assessment of residual risk.

Upon completion of the course the candidate will have an understanding and skills needed of the principals and benefits to prepare risk assessments.

Management responsible for developing, maintaining and dissipating risk assessments to all employees.
